Stella is the Chief Information Officer for Franklin County Schools. Prior to her current role, she served as Franklin County’s Digital Learning Coach. Before that, she was a middle school science and mathematics teacher. She has also served as a paraeducator for Kindergarten and first-grade classrooms. Stella is a Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Educator Levels 1 & 2, Raspberry Pi Certified Educator (ATL ’18), a Flipgrid Ambassador, and a Wakelet Ambassador. She is involved with #KYDLC and #KYGoDigital.

Stella is a huge advocate for #ThePowerOfPause movement. Power of Pause means that students are empowered when given the ability to use video and pause their learning, revisit it, and take their time in their journey. Stella is passionate about helping educators and students utilize multimedia.
